OFS Customer List Getting Smaller

This week, we’ve taken inventory of the active E&P count in Oct. (now 250), compiled lateral length data for private opera- tors, and updated our cycle time data. Key takeaways include a drop in the number of active E&Ps (net 25 have stopped alldrilling) despite the relatively firm total rig count (larger privates have offset by adding more rigs). Separately, recent cycletime data suggest the average well is now taking almost 6-months from spud to production, over 25% longer than it took in 2014.
