We have downloaded June / 2Q19 spud & efficiency data, and the key takeaway has been the surprising jump innew wells drilled (up 7% in 2Q19) despite lower rig count. If the current trend continues, 2H19 DUC backog will begin to build (implying more capex needed for 2020) AND / OR more rigs will need to be released.
